B. L Hair Gents Parlour

We are located at Shop No. 316 in Ramganj Bazar, not far from the main Ramganj Chauraha. It is a gents-only place, mostly focused on the basics like hair cuts and beard trims. The shop is one of many in this busy market area where everyone is selling something. We have two main chairs and a wooden bench against the wall for those waiting their turn. The light inside is a bit dim because the shop is narrow and deep, but we have some tube lights to see what we are doing with the razors. Ramganj is a place where everyone knows everyone else, so there is always a lot of greeting people as they walk by the front. We keep the shop open six days a week, starting right after the morning tea is finished. The floor is old concrete, and we try to keep it swept, but the hair piles up fast on a busy Saturday morning. We have a small hand mirror for the back of the head so customers can check the work. It’s a no-nonsense kind of shop for regular men. No music is playing, just the sound of the scissors and the constant chatter from the street. We’ve had the same sign out front for years and it’s a bit faded from the sun. If you need a quick trim while you’re out in the bazaar, we’re usually there. It’s a simple way to serve the guys.
