B L Hair Dresser

B L Hair Dresser is situated near Karni Moters in the Bassi Sitarampura area of Shastri Nagar. We are quite close to the Panipech Tiraha, so there is always a lot of noise and traffic right outside the door. I have been running this shop for a long time now and many of the people who come in are like old friends. The shop has two chairs and some mirrors that are starting to show their age a bit around the edges. I try to keep the place tidy, but hair gets everywhere no matter how much I sweep. We have a small radio that plays local songs all day long to drown out the sound of the horns outside. Most days are steady, with people coming in for a quick shave or a haircut before they go to their jobs. I don't use any of those expensive products you see in the big malls. I just have my regular scissors, a couple of combs, and the same brand of shaving cream I've used for years. The floor is a bit worn down from people walking in and out. Sometimes the water tap in the back leaks a little, but I put a bucket under it. It’s a simple business. I like being part of the neighborhood here. People stop by just to say hello even if they don't need a haircut that day.
