Astilo Unisex Salon

Astilo Unisex Salon is tucked away at E-12 in Friends Colony, right over by Imli Phatak in Jaipur. If you are coming this way, just look for the railway phatak, we are quite near that spot. We started this place as a way for both men and women in the neighborhood to get their hair done without having to travel too far into the main city traffic. It is a simple setup, really. We have a few chairs and the usual mirrors. Nothing fancy or corporate about it. We just show up every morning and wait for the regulars to drop in. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when the trains go by, but you get used to it after a week. We do haircuts, some basic skin stuff, and styling if someone has a wedding to go to. We don't really do big advertising or anything. Most people find us because they live nearby or their cousin told them we do a decent job for a fair price. The floor gets a bit messy when it’s busy, but we sweep it up as fast as we can. We like being part of the community here in Friends Colony. It is nice seeing the same faces month after month. We aren't trying to be the biggest salon in Jaipur, just a reliable one where you can sit down, have a bit of a chat, and leave looking a bit better than when you walked in.
