Astha Boutique Beauty Saloon is right in the Malviya Nagar Shopping Center at number 66. It is a bit of a unique place because we have both clothing and beauty services in one spot. You’ll see racks of outfits on one side and then the salon chairs and mirrors on the other. It makes the shop feel quite full and busy. Being in a shopping center means there are always people walking past the window and peering in. We handle everything from helping someone pick out a dress to doing their hair or makeup. The floor is usually a bit cluttered with bags or supplies, but that is just how it is when you are busy. We have a small counter where we keep the register and our appointment book. The noise from the mall filters in, so it never feels truly quiet. We have some bright lights to show off the clothes and to help us see clearly when we are working on a customer’s skin or hair. It’s a hands-on environment where we are constantly switching between different tasks. Most of the people who come in are shoppers who decided to stop for a quick service.
