I’m an assistant lecturer based out of Jaipur, specifically in Muktanand Nagar. My place is 254 Muktanand Nagar, which is right near Gopal Pura Bye Pass. It’s a busy area with a lot of students and coaching centers nearby. Being a lecturer here means my days are filled with preparing notes, heading to the college, and dealing with a lot of young people. Jaipur is a beautiful city, but it gets quite dusty and hot near the bypass road. I spend a lot of time at my desk at home, going through textbooks and grading papers. It’s not a glamorous life, just the regular routine of an educator. I have a lot of books piled up in my room. Sometimes I meet other teachers at a nearby stall for a quick tea before the afternoon sessions start. My commute is usually just navigating through the traffic on the bypass. The house in Muktanand Nagar is where I do most of my thinking and lesson planning. I don’t use any high-tech gadgets or anything; it’s mostly just me, my notebooks, and a few pens. I try to make the subjects clear for the students so they can pass their exams. It’s a bit of a repetitive cycle, but seeing a student finally understand a tough concept makes it worthwhile. It’s just a simple life in a quiet corner of Jaipur. I do my best to stay organized.
