Ashok Singhal & Co

Ashok Singhal & Co is tucked away in Goms Defence Colony. It is a different vibe from the main city areas of Jaipur; things are a bit more relaxed and residential here. We are at number 29. The office is basically part of the neighborhood. We see people walking their dogs or kids playing while we are inside looking at audit reports. It is a decent place to work without the constant honking of cars. Our day usually involves a lot of reading and checking figures. We handle a variety of work for people around Rajasthan and elsewhere in India. It is not a high-rise office building with glass walls. It is more of a local setup where we know the people who walk through the door. We spend a lot of time on the computer, dealing with the government portals which can be quite a headache sometimes. Everyone here has their own way of organizing their desk, so it looks a bit messy to an outsider, but we know where everything is. From tax planning to keeping records straight, we just do what is needed. We do not really have a big staff, so things stay pretty personal. It is just us doing the daily grind, making sure the numbers add up at the end of the day. The colony is quiet in the afternoons, which is good when you need to concentrate.
