Arctic Overseas Private Limited

Our little spot is Shop Number 3 on Plot 260, right in Gali Number 5 in the Rajapark area of Jaipur. If you’ve ever been to Rajapark, you know it’s a maze of small lanes and lots of shops selling everything under the sun. We are tucked away in one of those lanes, so it’s usually a bit quieter than the main road. At Arctic Overseas, we spend our time looking at passports, checking visa forms, and talking to people who want to see what life is like in other countries. The shop is small, so if more than three people come in at once, it starts to feel a bit crowded. We’ve got a couple of old chairs for visitors and a desk that is usually covered in folders and printed emails. It’s not a high-tech operation, just us and our computers and a lot of patience for the embassy rules. We drink way too much coffee throughout the day to keep our energy up. Most of our clients are local kids from the neighborhood or families who heard about us from a friend. We don’t do a lot of talking about ourselves; we just get on with the task of checking documents. It’s a nice way to spend the day, hearing about people’s dreams of traveling while the Rajapark market carries on outside our door.
