Down in Chandpole, right on Govind Raoji Ka Rasta, you’ll find our little setup. Apasara Handicrafts is basically a small workshop where we spend our mornings and evenings. This street gets pretty busy, but inside it’s usually just the sound of tools and people working. We make all sorts of items by hand. It’s the kind of work that takes a lot of patience, and sometimes your back hurts at the end of the day, but seeing the finished product makes it okay. We aren't trying to be some huge factory. We just like making things that feel real and have a bit of character to them. Often, you can see us out front if the light is better there. People from the neighborhood know us by name, and we like it that way. If a piece has a small scratch or a slight wobble, we fix it before anyone sees it. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and the building shows its age, but it works for what we do. We don’t use any big machines, just what we can do with our fingers and basic tools. It’s a slow process, but we aren't in any rush to change how we do things. Just a local shop doing what we know best in this part of the city. We aren't doing anything fancy, just working hard and staying busy with our hands every day.
