You will find our shop right at the Dev Nagar Corner on Tonk Road. It is a noisy area because of all the heavy traffic constantly moving past the front door. We are situated directly opposite Satnam Honda, which helps people find us since the street can be a bit confusing. The shop itself is not very large, so we have to cram most of our stock into the back room. On most days, we are either standing near the entrance waiting for customers or trying to keep the shelves somewhat organized. Dust from the road blows in every single time the door opens. We have a small desk tucked away in a corner where we handle all the billing and paperwork. It gets quite cramped when there are more than two or three people inside the shop at once. We tend to drink a lot of tea to keep our energy up during the long shifts. Tonk Road always seems to be under some kind of repair, so the sound of drills and construction is usually in the background. We have seen many other businesses in this neighborhood close down while we have just stayed here doing our work. The walls are covered with old calendars and some faded photos. We don't have a large staff, just a few people who have been here forever. It’s a basic life. We close up when the sun goes down and do it again.
