Ancient Kraft

Ancient Kraft is located over in Sector-2 of Vidhyadar Nagar. We are at C-2/6 in the Jeevan Suraksha building. It’s a much quieter neighborhood than the center of the city, which is nice for the kind of work we do. We focus on handmade items and traditional crafts. Our workspace is usually a bit of a mess with wood scraps, fabric, and various tools lying around. We don't have a big factory or a fancy showroom with lights. It’s just a place where we sit and make things with our hands. It takes time to do things this way, and sometimes a piece doesn't come out quite right, so we have to start over from the beginning. We’ve been in this spot for a long time and our neighbors are used to the sounds of us working. We aren't interested in mass-producing things on a machine. We like the old ways of doing things, even if it’s slower. People who buy from us usually know that it’s just a small group of us working here. We don't have any big mission statements or marketing plans. We just wake up, have our breakfast, and start working on whatever project is on the bench that day. It’s a simple life and we get a lot of satisfaction from seeing a finished piece finally ready to go out. We just keep our heads down and work because that is what we know.
