You can find us in the Mansarover area, at G-155-A. It’s a pretty well-known part of the city, but our street is a bit tucked away. We deal with what we call ancient arts, which is basically just making things look like they’ve been around for a century. We use a lot of old techniques that we learned from our fathers. The space is a bit dark, which helps when you’re trying to see the details on a piece of stone or wood. It’s not a corporate office at all. It’s a workshop through and through. There’s dust on the windows and the floor is never really clean. We like it that way. It shows we’re actually doing something. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just us doing the carving and the finishing. Sometimes a customer comes by to see how their piece is coming along, and we sit on stools and show them the progress. It’s a slow process, making things this way. You can’t rush it. We’ve had this spot for a few years and it suits us. The rent is okay and the neighbors don't complain about the noise too much. We just focus on the piece in front of us and try to get the details right. That’s about all there is to it. We aren't looking to expand much, just keeping the tradition going.
