Anant Medical & Provision Store

Our shop, Anant Medical & Provision Store, is located at 22/8/2 on Swarn Path, right along Mansarovar Madhyam Marg. It’s a good spot in a residential part of the city. We have been here long enough that we know most of the kids who come in for candy and the older folks who need their monthly blood pressure medicine. The shop is filled with all sorts of things from shampoo bottles to packs of lentils. We try to keep things organized, but it can get messy when we get a big shipment in. The front window has some old stickers on it and a few displays for vitamins or new soaps. We have a small television in the corner that we keep on the news, mostly just for the background noise. During the middle of the day, it gets pretty quiet and we spend that time checking the expiry dates on the medicine boxes or restocking the fridge with cold drinks. Mansarovar is a big area but this little corner of Swarn Path feels like its own small village. We have a few wooden benches where people sometimes sit for a minute if they are tired from carrying their bags. The light inside is bright and we keep the glass cabinets polished so people can see what’s inside. It’s not a fancy place, just a reliable store where you can get what you need for your house or your health without any fuss.
