If you find yourself in Jawahar Nagar, you might have passed by us. We handle a bit of everything here when it comes to phones and electrical parts. It’s mostly just me and one other guy helping out. We have wires, bulbs, and some mobile accessories hanging from the walls. The shop isn’t very big, so we have to use every inch of space we have. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific fuse or a charger cable, but we usually know where we put things. Jawahar Nagar is a nice area, a bit quieter than the main markets but still busy enough. We get a lot of people coming in with broken phone screens or wanting a new light fixture for their house. We just do the work and move on to the next task. The tea stall next door is where I spend my breaks. It’s a basic setup we have here. No big signs or flashing lights. We just have the name on the board outside. I’ve learned a lot about fixing things over the years just by doing it. It’s a steady kind of job. People always need their phones working or their lights on. We stay open until late evening because that’s when most people are home from work and realize they need something fixed. It keeps us busy and we like the routine of the neighborhood.
