Amarprem Hair Saloon

If you’re walking down Kirti Nagar Road near the Kamal & Company turn, you’ll find us at Shop 30. Amarprem Hair Saloon has been a part of this Jaipur neighborhood for a good number of years. It’s a small shop, nothing too flashy, just the usual chairs and mirrors you’d expect. We get a lot of locals coming in, especially on Sunday mornings when everyone wants a trim before the week starts. It gets pretty crowded then, and people end up sitting on the bench outside chatting while they wait. We mostly do haircuts and shaves. Some days are slow, and we just sit and watch the traffic go by on Tonk Road. It’s a loud street, but you get used to it. We keep our tools clean and try to make sure everyone leaves looking decent. My brother and I run the place most days. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the sign out front. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to use the old hand clippers, which the younger kids don't really like. But that’s life in the city. It’s a simple living for us here in Jaipur. We know most of our customers by name and what they like.
