Amar Hair Cut Style & Hair Dressar is located on Power House Road in Jaipur City. We are very close to the railway station, which makes it a very loud and busy location. You can always hear the whistles of the trains and the announcements from the platform. Because we are so close to the station, we get a lot of people who are just visiting Jaipur for a day or two. They come in looking a bit messy from their travels and want to look decent again. The shop is narrow and we have to be careful not to bump into each other. We have some old posters of movie stars on the walls to make it look a bit better. The mirrors are large but the edges are a bit worn out. Amar started this place a long time ago. He’s always here, even on hot afternoons. We use standard scissors and a spray bottle that leaks a little bit. It’s not a fancy saloon with soft chairs. Our chairs are hard and made of metal and plastic. But they do the job. People come here because it’s convenient and they know they will get a regular haircut without any fuss. We see a lot of different faces every day from all over the country. It’s a tiring job standing all day, but it’s a good life in the heart of the city. We just keep the shop running.
