Amac Stones

Our shop is at 82, Lane No. 4 in Heeranagar-A, just off Ajmer Road. It’s a decent spot for a stone business because it’s accessible enough for the big trucks. We’ve got a lot of different stones sitting around the place. Some have been here for a while, and others move out as soon as they arrive. If you walk into our yard, you’ll see piles of slabs and blocks everywhere. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We don't spend much on advertising because people usually just see us from the road or hear about us from their contractors. Working with stone is a bit of an art, though we don't call it that. It’s mostly about knowing where the cracks are and how to cut things so they don't break. We have a few guys who have been with us for a long time and they really know their stuff. The dust is something you just get used to after a week. Heeranagar-A is a good neighborhood, and we try to be good neighbors too, even with the noise of the saws. We aren't some big corporation with a board of directors. It’s just a local business trying to provide what people ask for. Whether it’s for a kitchen or a floor, we just show them what we have in stock and let the stone speak for itself. It can get pretty hot out there in the summer, but we keep the machines running and the water flowing to keep the dust down. It's just part of the job.
