Agarwal Marbles

You can find Agarwal Marbles at number 15 in Gopal Nagar-A. We are basically right under the railway overbridge on the Gopalpura Bypass. It’s a noisy spot because of the trains and the traffic on the bypass, but it works for us. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The yard is usually full of marble slabs that we’ve brought in. We don't have a big corporate office or anything. It’s just a small space where we keep our records and a big open area for the stone. People driving by on the bypass often stop in when they see the white marble shining in the sun. We spend most of the day talking to customers or helping the laborers load up the trolleys. It’s a lot of manual work. The dust from the stone gets into everything, even the tea we drink in the afternoon. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to move our stock and keep the business running. Sometimes the bridge construction or the road repairs make it hard for customers to pull in, but we manage. It’s just us, some stone, and the sound of the trains passing overhead every hour or so. We’re used to the vibration by now. It is just another day at the shop for us, making sure the stone is ready for whoever needs it.
