Alpine Abacus Academy Pvt Ltd is tucked away in Shyam Nagar, specifically around Dharam Park on Amer Road. It’s a neighborhood where a lot of families live, so we get a lot of kids coming by after school hours. Our place is basically a few rooms with tables and chairs where we teach abacus and math skills. It’s nothing like those big, shiny tutoring centers you see in malls. We have posters on the walls, mostly things the students have done or charts that help them learn. The noise level can get a bit high when a class is in full swing, but that’s just how kids are. We try to keep things simple. The parents know us, and we know the kids. Sometimes the door sticks a bit when it’s raining, but we’ve learned how to jiggle the handle just right. We’ve been at this location for a while now. Amer Road is usually busy with traffic, but once you step into our side of Shyam Nagar, it gets a little quieter. We aren't trying to be the biggest academy in the city. We just want to make sure the kids who come here actually learn something useful. It’s a small business run by people who live nearby. We just keep our heads down and do our daily work, watching the students get better at their numbers week by week.
