Ajmera Mobile

Sodala is a hectic place to have a shop. The traffic under the elevated road is non-stop, and the noise is just something we've gotten used to at Ajmera Mobile. We spend most of our day behind the counter. People walk in with broken screens, mostly. It seems like everyone is always dropping their phone these days. We have a lot of different spare parts tucked away in drawers. It might look like a mess to someone else, but we know exactly where the batteries for the older models are kept. We don't use any fancy computer systems to track everything; it's mostly in our heads. The shop isn't very large, so if three or four people come in at once, it gets a bit crowded. We usually have the radio playing in the background to drown out some of the honking from the street. We’ve been in Sodala for a long time. People know they can come to us when they're in a hurry. We don't do anything flashy. We just sit here, open the phones up, fix what’s broken, and hand them back. Sometimes the parts are hard to get, so we tell people to come back the next day. It’s an honest way to make a living. The floor is concrete and we’ve got a couple of plastic chairs for anyone who needs to wait. It’s just us, doing our thing in the middle of the daily Sodala rush.
