Agarwal Sound System

Agarwal Sound System is based over in Jhotwara, right on Kalwar Road. If you walk into our shop, you’ll probably see a lot of tangled wires and speakers stacked on top of each other. It’s not the neatest place in the world, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time testing out amplifiers or packing up the van for a local function. Sound is something we’ve been doing for years, mostly just learning by doing. We aren't a big company with a lot of employees. It’s mostly just a couple of us who handle the rentals and the repairs. Sometimes the noise gets a bit much for the people living nearby, so we try not to test the heavy speakers too late in the evening. We don't have any glossy brochures or a sales team. Most of our work comes from word of mouth in the Jhotwara area. We spend a lot of time driving to different venues, which can be tiring when the traffic on Kalwar Road is bad. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and making sure the connections are right so nothing goes silent in the middle of a party. We just focus on keeping the equipment in working order and being there on time when someone calls us for a job. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living.
