Stich Corner

You can find us at Shop No. 14 inside the Sector 119 Shopping Centre. It is part of the Thadi Market area, which gets very crowded on the weekends with people doing their chores. We do a lot of stitching work in this shop. Usually, you can hear the sound of the machines going all through the afternoon. People bring in their suits, shirts, or just old things that need a quick fix or a new button. We have a few sewing machines lined up against the side wall. The space is a bit cramped because of all the fabric scraps and different thread rolls we have lying around on the tables. We have been at this shop for a good amount of time now. Customers come in with photos on their phones to show us what they want their new clothes to look like. We try to match it as best as we can with the cloth they bring to us. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait if it is the wedding season. Everyone seems to want their stuff finished at the exact same time. We drink a lot of tea while we sit and work. The market noise from outside is always there, but we have gotten used to it over the years. The front counter is usually piled high with finished bags that are ready for pickup. We don't have fancy fitting rooms or mirrors everywhere.
