You can find Aditi Handicrafts over at House No. 235 on Bharat Marg. We are tucked away in the Surya Nagar area, which isn't too far from the Gopal Pura Bye-Pass. It’s a quiet enough street on most days, which really helps when we need to concentrate on the finer details of our craft work. The workshop is basically a converted part of the house we live in. We have benches set up in the main room and shelves piled high with all sorts of different materials. It is definitely not the most organized place in the world, but we know exactly where everything is hidden. My brother and I started this business because we just liked working with our hands. Now we have a couple of other people helping us out when things get particularly busy. We don't have a website that is all polished up or a professional marketing team behind us. Most of our customers just know us from around the local area or have been coming to us for many years. We do a lot of the work by hand, so there is always a bit of noise from the tools throughout the day. Sometimes we have to move all the furniture around just to fit a large order into the living room space. It is a bit of a tight squeeze but we make it work somehow. We just enjoy the process of making things and seeing them finished.
