Gulshan Handicraft

You can find Gulshan Handicraft at B- 251 near Bhomiya Ji Ki Chatri in Adarsh Nagar. This area is quite traditional and there is a lot of history around us. We work with our hands mostly, making different types of handicraft items. The workshop is always full of tools, wood shavings, and half-finished pieces. It is a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is. We are not a big factory; it is more of a family-type setup. We have been doing this for a long time, passed down from the older folks in the family. People come to us when they want something that is not made by a machine in a big factory. Each piece we make is a little bit different from the last one. We do not have a shiny showroom with bright lights. Most of our work happens in the back where it is a bit dark and cool. Adarsh Nagar is a lively place to be. We often have neighbors stopping by just to see what we are working on today. We do not spend money on fancy ads. Our work speaks for itself when people see it in someone’s home. It is a slow process sometimes, but we do not like to rush things. We stay busy enough to keep the lights on and the tools sharp. It is a good way to make a living, doing something real with your hands.
