A & A Handicrafts

A & A Handicrafts is tucked away in Tilak Nagar at C-183, Gyan Mary. It is a bit of a maze to find us if you aren't from this neighborhood. We have been here for years, surrounded by other small shops and houses. We focus on handmade items, mostly wood and metal pieces that craftsmen from the villages bring to us. My family has been doing this for a couple of generations now. The shop is filled with all sorts of things, from small statues to wall hangings. It gets a bit dusty because of the open windows, but that is just part of being in this part of town. We don't have a marketing team or anyone for sales. I usually answer the phone myself and talk to the buyers. Sometimes the shipments get delayed because of the weather or transport issues on the road, but we try our best to keep things moving. Tilak Nagar is a very lively place, always something going on outside our door. We like the energy here. We aren't trying to be a massive global company. We just want to sell nice things that people can put in their homes. It is a modest living, but it keeps us busy every day. We appreciate the people who stop by just to look at the work. It makes the day go by faster when we have company. We usually have some tea ready for visitors too.
