Saheb Food Junction

Our place, Saheb Food Junction, is on Jabalpur Hospital Road, right at Russel Chowk. We are very close to Ayushman Hospital, so there are always people around at all hours. We started this little food joint because we wanted to have a spot where anyone could get a quick meal. The area is usually very busy and finding a place to park a bike can be a real headache sometimes. We have a small kitchen and we just do our best to keep up with the orders. It’s not a fancy restaurant or part of any big chain. It’s just us working here every day. Most of the time, I’m either checking the supplies or helping out with the cleaning. We don't have fancy menus with pictures or big ads. People just see the sign when they are near the hospital and stop by. The days go by pretty fast because there is always something to do, like chopping vegetables or washing the dishes. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult since we are right on the road, but we just keep going. It’s a bit of a struggle during the summer months when the kitchen gets really hot, but we are used to it by now. We just focus on getting the food out and making sure the counters are wiped down. It’s a basic way to live, but it’s our own thing here in Jabalpur.
