Deepali Food Plaza

Deepali Food Plaza is located over at Gunj Gurhatte, specifically in the Jajwala Court area on Court Road. We are right across from the Mahendra Armry, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. It’s a very busy part of town because the court is right there. There are always people walking back and forth, like lawyers and folks with their various legal appointments. We set this place up because we saw how many people needed a quick spot to sit down and have something simple to eat. The space isn’t very large, but we’ve managed to fit in enough tables for people to feel comfortable. It gets pretty loud during the lunch hour, but that’s just how it goes in this neighborhood. We do a lot of the cooking ourselves and the kitchen stays busy from morning until we close. It’s not like those fancy restaurants you see in the bigger cities. We have a simple menu and we don’t change it much because people seem to like what we serve. We know what we are doing and we just keep at it day after day. The smell of the food usually drifts out onto Court Road. We’ve made friends with the workers in the nearby shops and the people from the court offices. It really feels like a little community here in the Jajwala Court area.
