Setting up shop near Rajwada Chowk means you are always in the middle of everything. Vareity Enterprises is located right where the heart of the city beats. It gets very loud around here, especially during the festivals when the whole square is packed. We have been at this spot for a good amount of time. The building isn't brand new, but it serves us well enough for what we do. Usually, the mornings are spent opening up the shutters and dusting off the counters. Rajwada has a certain energy that you don't find elsewhere. People are always rushing past. We handle a lot of different things throughout the day, mostly just keeping track of what comes in and goes out. It can get a bit dusty with all the traffic outside. Sometimes we have to move boxes around just to find a place to sit and have lunch. The staff here has been around for a bit, so we all know how the routine goes. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or big signs. We just focus on the inventory and making sure we don't lose track of the paperwork. Sometimes customers come in just to ask for directions because of where we are located. We don't mind. It is part of being in such a well-known area. By the time we head home, the lights of Rajwada are all on and the night market is starting.
