Svarna Shaktiman Plastica Llp is based at Plot No.13-A in the Electronics Complex in Pardesipura. We are quite close to the Pardeshipura Link Road, which is handy for the transport trucks. The complex is a bit of a mix of different types of businesses. Our unit is mostly dedicated to plastic production and storage. It’s a fairly large space, but it fills up fast when we have a big production run. The machines make a steady humming sound all day long. We have a small office area off to the side, but mostly we are out on the floor. It’s dusty work, and the smell of warm plastic is something you just get used to after a week. We have a small team of workers who know the machines inside out. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend half the day fixing a motor or a belt. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. We usually have lunch together on the back bench. The area around the Electronics Complex is always busy with people moving crates and boxes. We don’t do much advertising; most people find us because they need specific plastic parts and they know we are here. It’s just a regular industrial life, day in and day out, making sure things stay on schedule.
