Priyam General Store

If you go over to Shreeji Valley, you will find Priyam General Store at Shop No 204. We are located right by the Government School, so we get a lot of kids and parents coming in during the morning and afternoon hours. It is a busy little spot. We sell all the usual things you would expect from a general store. Milk, bread, snacks, soap, and stationery for the school kids are all here. The shelves are pretty packed. Sometimes it is hard to squeeze through the aisles if we just got a big delivery in. We try to keep everything in stock, but sometimes we run out of things like everyone else. Being in Shop No 204 means we’re part of the local community here in Shreeji Valley. We know most of our customers by name and know what they like. It is not a big supermarket where nobody talks to you. We usually have the radio on or the news playing on a small TV. It gets loud when the school lets out, but we like the energy. We’ve been here for a bit, and we have seen the kids grow up and move on to other things. The store is our second home. We open early so people can grab what they need before work or school. It’s a lot of hours standing on our feet, but that is what running a store is like. We don't have any fancy deals or loyalty cards. We just sell things at a fair price and call it a day.
