St Raphaels Girls Higher Secondary School

Our school is tucked away on Old Sehore Road, right in the White Church Colony area of Indore. It’s a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood compared to the rest of the city. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building has that old, solid feel to it. Being a girls' school, there is a certain way things have always been done here. The students wear their uniforms, and you can hear them laughing in the courtyards during their breaks. We have those big windows that let in a lot of light, which is nice on sunny days. Sometimes the monkeys from the trees nearby come onto the roof, and that causes a bit of a stir among the younger students. The staff room is usually full of notebooks and half-drunk cups of chai. We aren't trying to be the most modern place in the world. We just have our classrooms, our benches, and the daily routine that has stayed the same for years. Parents come by the gate in the afternoons to pick up their daughters, and the whole street gets blocked with rickshaws and scooters for a bit. It’s just a normal school day for us. We focus on the lessons, the homework, and making sure the girls follow the rules. It’s a steady kind of life here at number 15, and we like it that way. We just keep the gates open and wait for the morning bell to ring.
