Al Hira Public School is located over at 58-59 J, Aamwala Road, just off Dhar Road in Indore. It’s a part of the city that is always moving, with trucks and bikes going past all day long. Our school isn’t some big private estate; it’s just a practical building where we get things done. There are several rooms for the different classes, and they stay pretty full most of the time. The staff comes in early to get the registers ready before the kids start pouring in from the surrounding streets. Being on Dhar Road means we are easy to find, but it also means we deal with a lot of noise. You get used to it after a while, though. Our teachers have been with us for years, and they know most of the families by name. Instead of spending money on glossy brochures or big advertisements, we just let the work speak for itself. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or relatives who already have kids here. A lot of our time is spent checking notebooks, making sure the kids are wearing their uniforms properly, and trying to get through the syllabus before the exams come around. In the summer, the heat in Indore can be really tough, so we try to keep the rooms as cool as possible. It’s a simple setup, really. We just show up, do our jobs, and make sure the children are learning what they need to know for the next grade.
