Shrinathji Architects & Interior Designers

Our small office for Shrinathji Architects & Interior Designers sits right at Palasia Square. It is 17 Manoramaganj, which is a fairly busy part of Indore. If you walk around Shanti Nagar, you’ll eventually find us. We have been in this building for a while now. The space is filled with old blueprints and samples of laminates that we have collected over the months. Sometimes it feels like we have too much stuff in such a small area, but that is just how it goes when you are working on interiors. The light coming through the window in the afternoon is quite bright, so we usually have to keep the blinds half-shut. We start our day with some tea and go over what needs to be done. It is not always glamorous. Sometimes we are just arguing over a specific shade of paint or waiting for a contractor to call us back. Manoramaganj has its own rhythm, especially with the traffic near the square. You get used to the sounds of the street after a few days. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. It’s just a place where we sit down and try to figure out how to make a room look decent. We mostly just focus on the work at hand and try to keep things organized, even though the desk is usually covered in pens and measuring tapes. That is pretty much our daily life here.
