Shreeji Global

You can find us at Ug 12 in the Shekhar Residency building over in Vijay Nagar. It’s a busy part of town, so finding a parking spot can be a real headache some mornings. Shreeji Global is a small setup, just a couple of rooms on the upper ground floor. We deal with a lot of different products, mostly whatever our clients are looking for in the global market. The office is usually filled with the sound of someone typing or the printer going off. We have a small kettle in the corner for making chai, and that’s pretty much the highlight of our afternoon break. The walls are a bit bare except for a calendar and a few maps pinned up. We don't have a big team, just a handful of us who’ve known each other for a long time. It makes the work day go by faster when you’re working with friends. We handle the logistics and the sourcing, which involves a lot of back-and-forth emails. Sometimes a shipment gets delayed at the port, and we spend the whole day trying to sort it out. It’s not glamorous work, and we don't pretend it is. We just try to keep our heads down and do what needs to be done. Vijay Nagar is a good place to be based, even with all the traffic outside our window. The Shekhar Residency building has a lot of other offices too, so we see the same faces every day in the hallway. It’s a nice little community.
