Our office for Shipon Chemicals is on the first floor of Goyal Market, right at 38 Warehouse Road. It’s the same building where a few other businesses are, so there is always someone coming or going. Being on the first floor means we get to see everything happening on the street below. Warehouse Road is a constant stream of activity, with people loading and unloading goods at all hours. We deal with chemicals, mostly for industrial and agricultural use, and our space here is mostly taken up by files and a few desks. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, especially when we have a lot of paperwork coming in at once, but we make it work. We’ve been here long enough that the sounds of the market don't even bother us anymore. It’s just background noise. We don’t have any polished corporate brochures or a marketing team. It’s just us, doing the work and making sure our customers get what they ordered. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, or the internet acts up, but we just deal with it and keep going. We like the fact that we are right in the heart of the trade area. It feels like we are part of the real life of the city. We aren't looking to move to a fancy glass tower anytime soon. This market is where we belong.
