Shantinikethan Global School

We've been here at number 14 in Indore for a while now. The morning starts early when the sun is just coming up over the buildings. You see the kids getting off the buses and walking through the main gates of Shantinikethan Global School. It gets pretty loud once everyone is inside, but that is just how a school is. We spend most of the day making sure the classrooms are ready and the fans are working right because Indore gets quite hot in the afternoons. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit much, but inside the walls, it is mostly just the sound of teachers talking and pens scratching on paper. We don't have fancy offices or anything like that. It is just a place where people come to learn and get their work done. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we all know each other well. We keep the place clean, or at least we try to, even with hundreds of feet running around. It’s a busy life here in 452001. We don’t really think about big goals much, we just focus on making sure the day goes smoothly and everyone gets home safely when the bell rings at the end of the day. There is always something to fix, like a leaky tap or a stuck window, but we manage it one day at a time. It feels like a small community even though the school name sounds quite big.
