Shanti Overseas

Shanti Overseas has its office on the first floor of Vikram Tower. We are located right at 218, which is in the Sapna Sangita area on the Main Road. Being on the main road means there is always something going on outside our windows. You can hear the traffic and the people walking by all day long. It’s a good spot because it’s easy for people to find us, though parking can be a bit of a nightmare sometimes. The tower itself is a mix of different businesses, so you see a lot of different people in the hallways. Our office is a bit cramped with all the samples and files, but we make it work. We don’t have a big reception area or anything like that. When you walk in, you’re pretty much right in the middle of where we work. We handle the overseas side of things from here, so there’s a lot of emailing and phone calls throughout the day. Some of us have been working at this desk for years. We usually grab tea from the vendor downstairs twice a day. It’s just a normal office routine. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy furniture. We just focus on getting the shipments coordinated and making sure the paperwork is done correctly before the end of the day. It’s a steady pace most of the time. The building is a bit older, so the lift occasionally acts up, but we just take the stairs.
