Shanti Niketan Public School is over in Amitesh Nagar, specifically at number 435 in the Manik Bagh area of Indore. It’s a residential neighborhood, so most of our students just walk over from the nearby houses. The school building is right there among the homes, making it feel very much like a part of the local community. We have been operating here for a while, and we’ve seen a lot of kids grow up and move on to bigger things. The daily routine is pretty standard—assembly in the morning, classes until the afternoon, and then everyone heads home. We have classrooms that are simple and functional, with enough room for the kids to sit and do their work. It’s not a massive institution with hundreds of staff members; it’s a more personal setup where the teachers actually know the names of the parents. During the break, the kids play in the available space, and you can hear them from down the street. We don’t have much in the way of high-tech gadgets, but we have books and teachers who show up every day to do their jobs. The Manik Bagh area is usually busy, but our street stays relatively calm. We just keep our heads down and focus on the lessons, making sure the children are getting their basic education done right in their own neighborhood. It’s just a regular school doing its part.
