Geetanjali Furniture Art

You can find us over at Saptshrangi Nagar, right near the Annapurna Cold Storage. It's a landmark everyone knows around here on Pulak City Road. Geetanjali Furniture Art has been in this spot for some time. There’s usually some sawdust on the floor and the sound of tools going. We spend most of our time working on wood and trying to get the pieces to look right. It’s not a quiet place, but that’s how it is when you’re making things. Sometimes the smell of varnish is a bit strong. We have a few samples out, but a lot of what we do is just steady work in the back. The neighborhood is okay, a bit busy with the trucks going to the cold storage next door. My hands are usually a bit dusty by the end of the shift. We aren't trying to be some big showroom. It's just a workshop where we put furniture together. Most people find us because they live in Saptshrangi Nagar near the cold storage area or heard about us from a neighbor. We keep the doors open when the weather is nice. It helps with the dust. We take things one chair or table at a time. It's honest work and we like being part of the community here near the Annpurna Cold Storage. It's just a simple life of making things out of wood every single day.
