If you’re driving down Narmada Road in Barwaha, look for the Modi Petrol Pump. We are right opposite that at number 166. Ezzy Hardware is the name. It’s the kind of place where you walk in and smell metal and sawdust. We’ve got shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, packed with nails, bolts, tools, and all the things you need to fix a leaky pipe or build a shelf. It isn’t the most organized place in the world—we know where everything is, even if it looks a bit messy to someone else. We don’t have those fancy barcode scanners for everything; sometimes we just know the price from memory. People come in with a broken part and ask if we have something that matches. Usually, we do. We don’t try to sell you the most expensive tool if a cheaper one will do the job. That’s just not how we work. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll see the same faces every time you come in. We spend a lot of time helping folks figure out which screw fits which hole. It’s not a big corporate hardware warehouse. It’s just a local shop where we try to be helpful. The traffic on Narmada Road can be a bit much, but it’s easy to pull over near the pump and walk across to see us. We are usually around all day, just sorting stock or helping a customer with a project they’ve got going.
