Agrawal Furnituers

Our shop, Agrawal Furnituers, is right on Jawaher Marg, right in front of the petrol pump. It is a very noisy spot because of all the cars and bikes constantly stopping for fuel. We have wood shavings all over the floor most of the time. You can smell the saw dust and the polish as soon as you walk in. We make beds, tables, and cupboards right here. It is hard work and our hands are always rough from the tools. We do not have a fancy showroom; the furniture is just lined up wherever there is space. Sometimes the traffic on Jawaher Marg is so bad that people just park their bikes and walk over. We have been here for years and the shop has seen better days, but it is sturdy. We use traditional tools for a lot of the work. If you come by, you will likely hear the sound of a hammer or a saw. We do not have a website or anything like that. People just see the sign outside and come in. We take orders and write them down in a big ledger. It is a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that is when we take a short break. It is just a regular furniture shop where we focus on making things that last. The front of the shop is always open to the street, so we get a lot of dust from the road.
