Unique Furniture House

You can find us over at Badshah Chambers on Jawahar Marg. It is right opposite the Power House, which is a big landmark that everyone in the neighborhood knows. Being near Premsukh Cinema means there is always something happening outside, especially when a new movie is starting. Unique Furniture House is at No. 45, and we have been here long enough that the dust from the road feels like a permanent guest. The shop floor is usually full of different pieces we are moving around. Sometimes it is hard to walk through the aisles without bumping into a table or a chair leg. The noise from the Power House across the street is constant, a sort of low hum that you eventually stop hearing after a while. We keep the doors open mostly to let the air circulate, even if it means more cleaning for us later on. Working on Jawahar Marg is interesting because you see all sorts of people passing by. Some stop to look at the window, others are just rushing to the cinema. It is a busy part of town and Badshah Chambers has seen a lot of years. The ceiling is high which is good for the bigger items we keep in stock. We do not really do anything fancy here, just move things in and out and talk to the people who walk in off the street.
