Samaj Paper is located at Goverdhanchaaya, 43/1 on Keshar Bagh Road. It’s a well-known building in this part of the city. We’ve been in the paper business for quite a while now. Our space is usually filled with reams and stacks of paper of all different types and weights. It has that specific smell of fresh paper and ink that you always get in places like this. We are a small team and we handle everything from the initial orders to the actual loading of the trucks out front. Keshar Bagh Road is a busy area, so we are always watching the traffic when we have deliveries coming in or going out. The office part of our building is simple. We have some old wooden desks and a few filing cabinets that have been here for as long as the company has been around. We don't really see the need for a modern, polished look because that’s not what our business is really about. We are about getting paper to the people who need it, whether they are local printers or small businesses in the area. It’s a steady kind of work. We know most of our regular customers by their first names. Sometimes we sit down for a cup of tea with them when they come to pick up an order. It’s a very human way of doing things, and we wouldn't want to change it for something more corporate.
