New City Chemist

New City Chemist is located at 589 on MG Road in Indore, right in the New Palasia area. Most people find us because we are quite close to Kanchan Tilak Hota. It’s a busy part of the city, so there is always a lot of movement outside our door. We’ve got the shop set up with rows of medicines and we try to keep everything organized by category so we can find what people need quickly. It’s a bit of a task because there are so many different brands and types of tablets. We have a small fridge in the back where we keep the things that need to stay cold, like insulin. The lighting inside is a bit bright, maybe a bit too much, but it helps us read the tiny print on the labels. People come in with all sorts of prescriptions and sometimes they just need some bandages or a bottle of cough syrup. It’s a serious job because you have to be careful, but we still try to have a quick word with the neighbors when they stop by. MG Road can get really jammed with cars and bikes, especially in the afternoon, so it gets quite loud inside. We stay open until late because you never know when someone might need something urgently. It’s just us here, keeping the shelves filled and making sure we don't run out of the basics.
