We are located at 122, Jawahar Marg, which is a pretty busy stretch of road. Nafees Bakery has been around for quite some time now, and the routine hasn't changed much over the years. The bakers get here while it's still dark out to start the ovens. By the time the rest of the city is waking up, the whole street smells like fresh bread. It's a small place and things get a bit messy with flour and sugar everywhere, but that's just how a bakery works. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. Most of us are just busy in the back, making sure the ovens are at the right temperature and the dough is rising like it should. Jawahar Marg is always full of traffic, so we see a lot of people stopping by on their way to work or heading home in the evening. The shop floor is usually a bit chaotic during the rush hours. We don't spend money on fancy displays; we just put the goods out on the shelves as they come out of the oven. It's hard work being on your feet all day near the heat, but we've gotten used to it. We just focus on keeping the shelves full and the shop clean enough to work in. It’s just a local spot where we do our thing and try to keep up with the daily demand without much fuss.
