You can find McDaniel Pharmaceuticals over at 368 Kalani Nagar. It’s a residential area that has seen more businesses moving in lately. Our setup is inside a converted house, so it feels more like a home than a cold office building. We have the storage in the back and the main office in what used to be the living room. It’s a bit cramped when we get a large shipment in, and we often have to move the chairs around just to make a path. Kalani Nagar is a good neighborhood, and we like being close to the local markets. The work we do is mostly coordinating with distributors and making sure our records are up to date. We don't use any fancy software, just some basic spreadsheets and a lot of notebooks. Sometimes the printer jams right when we need to print an invoice, which can be frustrating, but we manage. We are a small crew and everyone does a bit of everything, from answering the door to packing boxes. We don't have a mission statement or any of that corporate talk. We just show up in the morning, do what needs to be done, and head home in the evening. It’s a simple life and the business reflects that. We try to be honest in our dealings and keep things clear. The street outside can get quite noisy with kids playing, but it adds to the local feel of the place. We’re just a small pharmaceutical company trying to stay busy.
