Mayank Refrigeration

We’re over at 5, Mahavir Nagar, not far from Kanadia Road. Mayank Refrigeration is a small place but we stay active. There are always a few old fridges sitting out front waiting to be looked at. Inside, it’s full of tools, compressors, and coils. The floor is usually a bit greasy from the work we do. I started this because I liked figuring out why things stop getting cold. It’s a lot of testing wires and checking for leaks. Sometimes a repair is easy and sometimes it takes all day. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know our way around a cooling system. We talk to the customers who drop by, mostly people from the neighborhood who have a kitchen emergency. It’s honest work. We don't use any fancy sales talk. If it’s broken, we say so, and we try to fix it. The noise of the street is always there, but we get used to it. In the summer, we are extremely busy because everyone’s fridge starts acting up. We end up working long hours then. My workbench is a mess of screws and copper bits, but I know where everything is. It’s just a local shop doing what we can. We’ve been in Mahavir Nagar for years now and we like the people here.
