Lextra Pharmaceuticals is tucked away in Scheme No. 54 in Indore. If you know the area, it’s Plot 345 and 346. It’s a decent-sized space, but with all the stock we keep, it feels a bit cramped some days. We’ve got shelves lining every wall, and even then, we have to stack things on the floor sometimes. It’s mostly just us keeping track of what comes in and what goes out to the pharmacies around the city. The neighborhood is fairly busy, so there’s always someone coming or going. We don’t have a big front desk or a waiting room because we are mostly focused on the back-end stuff. One of our colleagues usually brings in snacks for everyone in the afternoon, which is the highlight of the day. The paperwork can be a real headache, especially when the orders are large and the numbers don't seem to add up at first. We use a couple of old computers that take forever to start up. Most of us have lived in Indore for years, so we’re used to the pace here. We aren't trying to do anything fancy. We just make sure the medicine gets to where it’s supposed to go. Some days are longer than others, especially when a big shipment arrives late in the evening and we have to stay to unload it all. The traffic outside can be quite loud, but we barely notice it anymore. We spend a lot of time double-checking the shipment lists before the vans arrive.
