Laurels International School Senior School

We are over here at Talavali Chanda, right off the A B Road in Indore. It's a busy spot, and you can usually hear the traffic moving along the highway from the front gate. This part of the school is for the older students, the ones in the senior years. Things are a bit different here compared to the primary wing. The kids are taller, their bags are heavier, and they spend a lot more time at their desks. Our building is pretty straightforward. It’s got enough rooms for all the subjects, and the hallways get noisy during the lunch break. We’ve been at this Manglia location for a while now. Most of the teachers have been here for years, too. They know the families around here. Sometimes the weather gets really dusty in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is in this part of Indore. We don’t have fancy elevators or anything like that. People just walk up and down the stairs to get to class. In the mornings, you see the yellow buses pulling in one by one. It’s a lot of work keeping everything running, from the water coolers to the blackboards. We just try to get through the syllabus and make sure the kids are ready for their exams. It’s a plain place where everyone knows each other’s names, and we just keep doing what we do every day. Nothing too special about it, just a lot of books and students.
