Our place, Kbc Agro Biscuits Company Ltd., is at 79-A in the New Industrial Estate. We are right across from the Laxmibainagar Grain Mandi. It’s a good spot because we are near the source of a lot of what we use. The industrial estate is always busy with trucks and workers. Inside our building, it usually smells like baking. We aren't a giant factory with robots; it’s mostly people doing the work by hand or with older machines. We don't have a polished corporate office. Our desks are right there near the production line. Sometimes the dust from the grain mandi across the street blows over, but we keep our place as clean as we can. We've had some ups and downs over the years, but we are still here at 79-A. We don't talk much about visions or missions. We just try to make biscuits that people will want to eat. The New Industrial Estate can be a tough place to work during the summer heat, but we have our fans going. We keep things pretty basic around here. There’s no fancy marketing budget. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been doing this for a while. It’s a decent living for the folks who work here. We hope to stay here for many more years, just doing the same work every single day.
