K. L. Garments

K. L. Garments is located at Plot No- 9 in Imli Bazar, specifically in B-2 of Vimal Plaza. Being inside a plaza means we are surrounded by other shops and businesses, so there is always someone talking or walking past our door. Imli Bazar is a crowded place, especially on the weekends, but we are used to the squeeze. Our space is filled with fabrics and finished clothes, so it feels a bit tight sometimes. We have sewing machines that make a lot of noise when they are all running at once. It’s a very busy atmosphere and we usually have scraps of thread on our clothes by the end of the shift. The lighting in Vimal Plaza is a bit bright, but it helps us see the details of the garments we are working on. We don't have a big front window, but the sign outside helps people find us among all the other plots. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the back to keep things lively while we work. Most of our day is spent measuring, cutting, and checking the quality of what we make. It’s not the most glamorous job, but we enjoy the process of seeing something being put together. We know the other shop owners in the plaza and we often help each other out if someone needs change or a bit of tape. It’s just a regular life here at the shop.
